There are two types of analog modulation:
Amplitude modulation and Angle modulation.
1.Amplitude Modulation:: When the amplitude of the base band signal is varied in accordance with the amplitude of carrier signal, it is known as amplitude modulation.
2.Angle Modulation:: There are two types of angle modulation :
(i)Frequency Modulation:: When the frequency of the base band signal is varied in accordance with the frequency of carrier signal, it is known as amplitude modulation.
(ii)Phase Modulation:: When the phase of the base band signal is varied in accordance with the phase of carrier signal, it is known as amplitude modulation.
There are also Pulse Modulation techniques
Pulse code modulation
Pulse width modulation
Pulse position modulation
