i am confusing about differential pressure transmitter as i
seen so many DPTs in different ranges how can we calculate
level and flow with mmh20 plz tel me
Answer Posted / sathiskumar
FLOW calc:
flow is directly proportional to the square root of dp. this
is the actual technique currently we are following. but how?
normally for all the primary sensing element such as
orifice, Venturi there is a graph available from the
developer, which shows the values between dp vs flow graph.
based on this graph from the manufacturer the
instrumentation engineer will assign the range of dpx
accordng to the flow value of the curve.
