Stator of three phase induction motor creates Rotating
Magnetic field.But why not Transformer?
Answer Posted / alshaikh
Actually, they have the same principle in the transformer there is no electrical connection between the primary and the secondary (ordinary transformer) and also, in the motor the is no connection between the stator and the motor they depend on the travelling of the magnetic field . In secondary of the transformer is stationary but the rotor is free and it get rotating force magnetic field coming through the air gap
