Size of tile= 6.5" x 6.5"
Area of 1 tile= 6.5X6.5 = 42.25sqinch.
No of tile for 1 sqft = 144 / 42.25 = 3.408 nos
No of tiles for 36 sqft = 36 x 3.408 = 122.69 nos say 123nos
