Noise defined as the unwanted modulation or unwanted signal that gets superimposed with the information signal
Distortion defined as any unexpected change in the shape of any waveform.In this case signal is no longer pure but it has additional frequency components which are known as harmonics.

what its mean 'inverter based technology' ? if we talk about refrigerators, splits ACs etc how it helps to produce & keep more coolness and chilled atmosphere ?
