wht is Zero Elevation and Zero Suppression?

Answer Posted / kranti

zero suppression: when a dp type level transmitter is
installed below the hp tapping then we have to measure the
distance between the hp tapping and the transmitter and we
have to consider this distance as zero of the transmitter
while we are doing the calibration. and also add to the
actual span also.

zero elevation: if the transmitter is installed above the hp
tapping, we have to take this distance between the tapping
and the transmitter and we have to subtract from the actual
zero and also from the actual span while doing the calibration.
