if Ly/Lx < 2 then the slab is Two Way.
and if Ly/Lx > 2 then the slab is One way.
Ly is Longer Span of slab
Lx is shorter span of Slab.
Flat slab is different then the above.
In which beams are not designed and the in casting of slab
is prestressed or Column cap are used.
Advantage =it will give a clear height (without beam) and
good architectural apperance.
