is there any difference in footing and slab reinforcement?
Answer Posted / nitin adate
Yes Definately there is diffrence in Slab & Footing
reinforcement. In simple word in our body we have diffrent
function of all the body parts;same for the slab. Footing
takes a load from above structure & transfers safely to sub
soil & Slab is for transfering load to Column & from column
to footing. So Footing is design for taking load ( heavy
reinforcement) & slab is designed for transferring load
(Light reinforcement ).
