wat is the importance of reactive power in power
generation.....if it is zero means wat will happen to
system........

Answer Posted / jagadeesh kumar

reactive power means imagine power.it is not do any work.it adjust the balance of voltage.or supports the voltage. For motor loads, sufficient var levels are needed to avoid voltage sags that inhibit the conversion and flow of watts to meet load demand. Therefore, actual power systems require both real and reactive power to function properly.
