already those are the nominal voltages which when
multiplied by the form factor to which all voltage levels
(altenating voltages) abide' the results are voltages into
which the form factor devided gives the said 10kv 30kv etc

Why do power lines not short out when they fall into water?
In case of HV test on medium voltage cables, BS is asking for 4 U0 where as IEC is asking for 3.5 U0. Can any one advise me how this 3.5 times or 4 times U0 is derived?
