Hi, what is 100 % stator earth fault protection and how it
can be achieve by 3rd harmonics and low frequency injection
principle ?
Answer Posted / vijendra joglekar
Plse explain the quaition in clear because you know as you
mentioned in the quation 100% eaarth fault what you want
say actually as you know in stator earth fault connections
has been achieved by connecting solid earth pit which will
be any types i.e Green or dedicated earth pits.100% depends
types of earht pit and which manner is connected .And
another point 3rd harmonics whch is no way related to earth
pit or connections as you know if earth is not properly
connected it will affect the equipment i.e N-G voltage get
increase thus phase.Harmonics is a load & source generated
not earth pit as you know to avoid the harmonics 3rd
harmonics Active or Passive filter which is the circuit of
R,L and Capacitors.
And Low frequency injections i am not getting of this
