anyone can explain me about precision n scale properties.
while extending one column in a table we will cum under
these properties.

Scale is the total no of digits that can come for a
particular numeric field to the right and left of the
decimal point.
Precision is the number of digits to the right of decimal point.
Eg. for numeric field the scale is 6 and precision is 2.
Then it can accomodate:
9999.99 and 99999.9 are valid but 999.999 is invalid and
will give Data Type not found/mismatch error.
