Actually Resistance is universally proportional to cross section area of the conductor it means when conducting materiel is thick the resistance will decrease then leakage current flow easily
when we inserting the plug in to the socket first
big pin i.e. first earthed, if there is any leakage of
current may also be we are safe or otherwise we under goes
to electric shock.
