vfx and animation fields are entirely different. vfx means
visual effects which is nothing but adding effects to the
live action sequences which are captured with film cameras.
the modules in the visual effects are
compositing,rotoscoping,keying,tracking, effects making,
wire removal e.t.c..
Whereas the animation field includes 2D and 3D
animations.in which you can choose one. 3D animation
contains the modules like modelling,texturing, rigging,
lighting, animation, dynamics e.t.c..
Both visual effects and animation have a vast area of
things to be known. So, it is suggested to do one course at
a time. Do not enter this field unless you have interest in
this field.
