in india ac frequency is 50hz, but in foreign countries it
is 60hz,whwt is the reason

earlier there were only two standards available. One is American standard ie 60 HZ and 110 V, second one is British standard ie 50 HZ and 230 V . In both cases advantages and Disadvantages are there. But India following British standard.
