what is the weight of 8mm dia steel with 1 meter length.
Is there any formula to calculate the weight for any given
diameter
Answer Posted / umesh
Weight of 8 mm diameter reinforcement steel
considered density of steel = 7850 kg/mm2
formula is = 3.14 / 4 x d x d x 1 x 7850
d = diameter of bar
e.g.= 3.14/4 x 0.008 x 0.008 x 1 x 7850
= 0.394 KG/RMT
for further dia please change value of dia only.
