with the increase in the frequency by keeping the kva rating of the machine constant then the size of the machine can be reduced.
on the other hand during the design stage if the frequency is increased then the KVA rating of the machine will be increased as KVA proportional to EI where E(induced voltage) is proportional to f. Power supply voltage range must be decreased along with the increase in frequency so that the machine will be safe without getting into saturation
