when we increase load , current drawn from source also
increases why ?

when i connect 10V battery to 10ohm resister then the
current will be 1A...if i add a another 10ohm resister in
series the current will be 0.5A....Normally if i crease my
load the current must be increased...but here
decrease...WHY????
