Active power= VI COS FI But incase of leading power factor ( more than unity), may we use other formula ? because the cos fi (value of cos thita) should not be grater than one.

Power factor is never more that unity.
Why?
Power factor is leading is nothing but current is leading the voltage. In a 360 deg case stude anything 30 deg leading means it is 330 deg lagging in other direction.
remember current does not actulally leds voltage, it lags by 330 deg which we say in other words as leading 30 deg for easy understanding purpose.
so instead of cos(30) if u will right cos(-330) it is same. so there is no such case of pf >1 in case of leading case.
