synchronous motor works on the principle of magnetic locking. when two
unlike poles are brought near each other if the magnets are strong there
release a force of attraction b/w those two poles in that condition magne
ts are said to be magnetic locking .
if one of the two magnets is rotated the other one also rotate with same
direction and speed due to force of attraction
