What is the difference between Target and Budget?
Answer Posted / r m panicker
1Budgets are the monies available at your disposal, where
as Target is a subset of Budget with an element of savings
built in it when we talk in terms of cost.
2.Cost/Expense targets are always less than the Budget.
3.When it comes to Revenue, Targets can be equal to Budget
or more than the Budget, at times it can be less than the
Budget if the current market conditions are not favourable
when compared to Historicals.
