A/C: The electronic component which are capable of
amplifying or processing an electrical signal are called
active components. e.g. semiconductor, gas tubes etc.
P/C: The electronic component which are not capable of
amplifying or processing an electrical signal are called
passive components. e.g. capacitors & inductors etc.
