Tell me why Up link Frequency is more than Down link
frequency.?
Answer Posted / reza r
It must be a channel difference between uplink and downlink
frequencies in order to prevent the interference. Depending
to your equipment (e.g. between Base Transceiver Station
(BTS) and Mobile Set (MS) in GSM system) these frequencies
are assigned in a reasonable manner. In this example MSes
have lower uplink frequencies and BTSes have higher uplink
frequencies because of cost & power restrictions in the
mobile sets.
