AVR stand for Automatic Voltage Regulator work to control the output voltage of Generator in normal and Abnormal condition to maintain the system voltage as reference voltage. Its compare the output of Alternator and Controlling it as result in Changing of Excitation voltage of Field system.

We have a distribution transformer of 750KVA/11kv/440v and an AVR (Servo Stabilizer) of 750KVA on the LT side of distribution transformer.
