From the moment defect is opened, make sure that you are
updating the timely updates based on its severity.
Following up with respective teams(ex.Dev,requirements.etc)
is very important inorder to get the issue resolved.Once
the issue is fixed, it should be retested with proper data
provided and the defect should be closed with appropriate
comments.
