The ratio of weight of cement to volume is called unit
weight of cement .unit wt of cement =1440kg/cum
Ex:for 0.5 m3 volume of concrete(1:2:4) than qty. of
cement= 0.5/(1+2+4)
= 0.07cum
mas of cement=0.07*1440
=100.8kg
unit weight=mass/volume

I used Etabs software to analyse a high-rise building. And I want to use templated UBC-codes inside to calculate the Seismic load. My question is: whether or not I have to control the seismic load by base shear load which is manual calculation?
