Why Packed Bed is not preffered in seperation process while
Tray column is used in Industries predominatly??

1.It is easy to take side stream for intermediate heating and cooling in case of from tray column compare to packed column.
2.in case of packed column some times channeling of liquid stream occurs so to prevent it tray column cab be preffered.
