which have higher efficiency transformer or induction moter
Answer Posted / dipankar chetia
transformer have higher efficiency because it has no moving part, hence there is only copper loss and iron loss(less) and no friction and winding losses. On the otherhand induction motors have mechanical losses as well as the above mentioned losses.so transformer have higher efficiency.
