In ONAN type cooling,in the evening oil temperature is
accumulation of both atmospheric temperature of whole day
and winding temperature, so that temperature of the winding
In the evening is lower than oil temperature. At night due
to cool atmosphere continues till morning temperature of
the oil get down to its normal value and the volume of the
oil in a transformer is higher than the volume of the
winding so the heat generated by the winding is dissipated
by the system easily so that temperature of the winding is
higher than the oil temperature.

Please help me regarding my one concern. - During earth pit testing we noticed that the Clean earth pit and dirty earth pit showing continuity (Resistance value - 5ohm) . I want to know that if both earth pit have separate location and there is not internal looping between PIT then why such continuity is showing on it . Because of this issue the field side all earthing point showing short.
