Different type of lubricating system are used depending on
their use, component of engine,nature of motion between
moving or sliding surfaces of an IC engine.
following lubrication system are involved in an IC engine-
1.hydrodynamic or thin film lubrication.
2.hydrostatic lubrication
3.boundary lubrication or thin film lubrication
4.extreme pressure lubrication.
