how you calculate the qty. of cement ,sand,aggregate from
proportion 1:2:4 M15

Answer Posted / sindhumani

To find the individual ratio of materials we have to use one
formula,
Sand = 0.46% of cement
Aggre= 0.92% of cement

For ratio 1:2:4
to find cement qty: (0.46%/2)*1440kg= 331Kg
For ratio 1:3:6
to find cement qty: (0.46%/3)*1440kg= 221Kg
