Is expansion valve a throttle valve? why?
and what is the capillary tube and the difference between it
and the above ones?

Expansion valve may not be necessary that it can be a
throttling valve because in throttling valve flow is
restricted therefore velocity increases and pressure
decreases which reduces the out let pressure hence
temperature get reduced
