a starter is a device generally used to reduce the high
initial current to the safe limit.when we start motors high
initial current to be flow through motors which effect to
others load connected that supply because the initial
current is 6-8 percent of full load current.to reduce the
initial current starters are used except DOL starter.There
are verious type of starter
1.DOL STARTER
2.STAR DELTA STARTER
3.RHEOSTAT STARTER
4.AUTO TRANSFORMER STARTER
