what is the difference between neutral and earth?

Answer Posted / sagar

Neutral is used for completing the electric ckt.Current always flows in the neutral when ckt is completed and electrical equipment operated.
Earth is used for earthing the equipment encloser & grounding the fault current.when fault occurs fault current flows through earth wire and give protection.
In the neutral current always flows to complete the ckt whereas current only flows thorogh earthing during fault.
