MV.A (not 'MVA') is the symbol for megavolt ampere.and in some low volatge cases we consider VA that is (Voltage Ampere). where VA is the true vector sum of circuit power or reactive power.
So, i thik it is true. NOT 'mVA' in case of transformer.

Sir,In our company there are 3 caterpillar make(capacity:(1) 3.3KV,2.5MW(2)3.3KV,2.5MW & (3)3.3KV,1.9MW) & 1 deutz make (capacity:11KV,3.8MW)gas engines utilised,all are running in paralell. There are three transformer utilised,(1) 6.25MVA,3.3KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:6.7% used for two generator,both are 2.5MW(2)5.5MVA,3.3KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:7.2% used for one generator of 2.5MW & (3) 5.5MVA,11KV/22KV,Impedence voltage:7.8% used for one generator of 2.5MW.all generator breakers capacity of 1250Amps. Sir,I want the details of fault level calculation of generator,transformer individually & for whole system. HELLO EVERYONE, I RECENTLY HAVE FOUND ONE PROBLEM, I WAS TAKING NO LOAD TRIAL OF AN HT MOTOR 920 MOTOR , 1440 RPM , 6.6 KV, WITH AUTO TRANSFORMER. AT 450 V, LOAD WAS 40 AMP AND SPEED WAS 250 RPM. BUT AS WE INCREASE VOLTAGE FROM 450 TO 480V, LOAD BECOME 41 AND SPEED REDUCED TO SOME RPM . SO WHICH PHENOMENON ACTED HERE FOR REDUCING SPEED.?? AND IS IT HAPPENING ALWAYS OR IT IS RARE? I ALSO HAVE FACED SUCH PROBLEM WITH FEW LT MOTOR ALSO.
take 100kva DTR( delta/wye ), what ll happen if we connect 11kv to LT side instead of connecting to HT side? will the DTR behave as a step up transformer or something else????
