As the Interest Expense charged by the Bank is an expense
and comes under Nominal Account. As per nominal
account "All expenses debit".
In this transaction Bank is not a personal account, it is a
Real account means it is as Asset to us and the Bank
charges are getting deducted from this Account. So As per
Real Account "What goes out Credit"
That is why the entry should be as follows
Interest exps A/C Debit
Bank A/C Crdit

how to we pass a purchase entry in item invoice mode where some advance has been paid to the party. the purchase entry should get offset with the advance payment entry so that it does not appear in the bill outstanding or bills due list. please guide.thank you

My question is on Opening & Closing Stock Suppose Closing stock of 2014-15 is Rs 30 lakhs & Also we filed return & ROC too for 2014-15. Opening stock for 2015-16 should be Rs 30 lakhs but we found that some purchase for feb & March 2015 Stock has been entered in tally Its taken directly to purchase split of stock not made & in sales to same of 2 lakhs no split of stock is shown. Those stock need to make changes in 2015-16 what was the process ? And what will be adjustment entry ?
