Micro controller is used to perform single task
2. General purpose
Specific purpose
3. M.p does not contain on chip Ram /Rom,I/O ports timers etc
It has fixed amount of Ram /Rom,I/O ports timers on chip
4. In built memory
Internal memory
5. M.P requires more external hardware
M.C requires more internal hardware
6. M.P have many operational code
M.C have one OR two operational code
