The condenser/capacitor in fan is used to start the motor
since it is a single phase induction motor and is not
capable of self starting..This capacitor helps the starting
current..

The knee point of a current transformer is normally unique and known.So why in the nameplate of a CT they put the minimum value like this Vk> 400v.
