in a power plant main steam flow is volumetric or mass flow?
is it required compensation?
Answer Posted / bablu choudhary
If, we use LPT and HPT used for full STIG ,then volumetric flow rates of the turbine is to be constant to maintain the pressure ratio of gas turbine while the mass flow rates of the STIG is lower than that of gas turbine.
so compensation is not required in case of mass flow rate it only allow to flows the volumetric flow rate.
THANKS.

When doing a liquid seal on a differential flow transmitter , most of the time the sealing liquid will be heavier then the process fluid. For wich application will the sealing liquid be lighter than the process fluid if transmitter is mounted below the process line.
