what is the difference between 3 phase 3wire &3phase 4 wire meter?what is the advantage of 3p3w over 3p4w?
Answer Posted / prakash
A 3-phase 3-wire system does not contain a neutral. This
occurs when you have 3-phase loads such as motors that do
not require a neutral. A 3-phase 4-wire system has a
neutral. A neutral is required to obtain either 120 or 277
volts in a 3-phase system. Both of these scenarios can
occur on wye and delta systems.
