IP Address is classified into-
class A Ranges from 1 to 126
Class B Ranges from 128 to 191
class C Ranges from 192 to 223
Class D Ranges from 224 to 239
Class E Ranges from 240 to 247
ip 127.0.0.1 is use for loopback address
These addresses are public addresses.
& private addresses are-
class A: 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
class B: 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
class C : 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
