in solids when an external force is applied this force
tend to couse deformation in that body at that time
internal force is develop to resist this deformation in the
solid this resisting force develop over unit area is called
stress.
while the force applied on unit area is the pressure.
PRESSURE IS APPLIED FORCE ON UNIT AREA.
WHILE STRESS IS NOT APPLIED FORCE IT IS THE INTERNAL
RISISTING FORCE DEVELOPED ON UNIT AREA.
