The IS 456 has given some basic rules to calculate the steel
in beams, colums, foundation, slabs etc in percentage this
can be used as a rule suppose 4% steel can be provided in
coulms and for circuler one provide 6 bars like this we can
get all steel .

If density of cement is 1500 Kg/m3, the how is specific gravity 3.15 ? (Density of water is 1000 Kg/m3)
