Beta testing is performed after Alpha testing.
1.In Beta testing product is given to a trusted customer
and testing is done at customer's site.
2.Devoloper is not present.
3.Live application environment cannot be controlled by
devoloper.
4.Customer records all problems encountered and reports to
devoloper at regular intervals.
