which trsanmission is easy and cost effective AC or DC.

Answer Posted / ifeanyi orakwe

Both forms of electricity have their specific applications,
and have their own advantages as well. However in terms of
transmission generally, I think AC is better; since we can
transform the voltage levels, we can minimize losses in
transmission, thereby maintaining good transmission
efficiency generally.
I do not think it is easy changing the voltage levels of a
DC system, except for the use of potentiometers, which
enable losses on the DC network.
Or do you know of any other means of changing the voltage
levels of the DC network?
