What happens with squirrel induction machines if the ends
of rotor conductors are kept open? Explain
Answer Posted / deepankar
There will be no
current in rotar circuit
and hence rotar does
not rotate at all.
Because of no back
emf the total applied
voltage will lead to a
very high current in
statar windings making
a probability of burning
of statar windings.
