What does it mean- 10mm of mercury pressure (See B.L
thereje book page 1331)

Answer Posted / ab_ina7

10mm = 0.01m
now, density of mercury = 13600 kg/m^3
so pressure due to 10mm Hg = 13600*9.81*0.01= 1334.16N/m^2

so, 10mm of mercury pressure means 1334.16N/m^2 pressure
