D stands for DATA, since every f/f or even A SIMPLE CKT CAN
PROVIDE A UNIFORM DELAY( due to propagation delay, and every
circuit has its own delay). SO it does not add any special
meaning to a D F/F!!! its the data storage property which is
unique!!!
