the main function of magnetic contactor is control and CB is to protect generally the control is near to the load so it will protect only till the control panel and the CB is protecting whole (From power panel to the load) and also serving as secondary protection for load.

if the number of poles generated in stator and rotor side of an induction motor are different then what will happen and why?
