In Web based application, First thing we need to Perform Usability testing(e.g: easy of use, user friendly & short navigation), Second is Performance testing(e.g: Load, Stress, Spike testings), Third one is Browser Compatibility testing and Security testing.
In Client based application, test the application is loaded on server machine while the application exe on every client machine and conduct the same testing which you have performed on web based application.
